Bicarbonate of SodaÂ BP Food Grade
Bicarbonate of Soda, otherwise known as Sodium Bicarbonate or sometimes shortened to just Bicarb has been used since the early Egyptian times.
Widely used in cooking for years it has more recently been used in the making of Bath Bombs and Fizzers.
It is also used as a cream cleaner to clean shiny surfaces without leaving scratches, as a refrigerator freshener (leave a small bowl of it in your fridge o soak up the smells), and to clean Aluminium, Chrome, Plastics, Silver, Stainless Steel and Tin.
It is also used on certain stains and to soften water.
It can even freshen up your carpets by sprinkling it over them, leaving for a while then vac it up.
